‘The L Word: Generation Q’ Teaser Brings New and Original Cast Members Together
Showtime has released the first footage from its L Word followup series, dubbed The L Word: Generation Q. The teaser gives us a look at returning OG cast members Jennifer Beals, Leisha Hailey, and Katherine Moennig. It also highlights the fresh faces coming to the series including Rosanny Zayas, Jacqueline Toboni, Sepideh Moafi, Arienne Mandi, and Micah Lee.
The L Word: Generation Q picks up where the original drama left off after the series came to a close a decade ago. The story centers around Bette (Beals), Shane (Moennig), and Alice (Hailey) alongside a new group of diverse LGBTQIA+ characters as they experience love, heartbreak, sex, setbacks and success in LA.
The reboot will also see appearances from Brian Michael, Olivia Thirlby, Fortune Feimster, Latarsha Rose, and Stephanie Allyne. Creators Ilene Chaiken, Steph Green, and Kristen Campo will executive produce alongside showrunner Marja-Lewis Ryan and original series stars Beals, Moennig and Hailey. Green is set to direct the pilot episode.

The L Word: Generation Q will run for eight episodes and premieres December 8 at 10PM ET on Showtime.
